                                       OUR MISSION STATEMENT
 St. Mark's Church is to be a house of worship for all people, to be a faith  community    that ministers God's healing and caring ministry to our members, our community and the world. 
 
 What do we mean when we speak of the mission of the Church?  The answer is quite simple: mission is what God calls us to do. Ministry is a way of answering that call.  Our ministry is the particular way we respond to God's call.  Each person's particular  personality, background and circumstance influence his or her ministry. This is also true for the ministry of our parish.
 
 Determining what God calls us to do is a lifelong process for the Church.  Episcopalians point to four resources that we use to understand mission: Scripture, tradition, reason and personal faith.
 
 Let us live our mission by being faithful, obedient and full of Christ to be a house of   worship for all people, and to be a faith community that ministers God's healing and  caring ministry to our members, our community and the world.
